It’s up to you to decide what information to require when clients make appointments online. You can ask for either email address or phone number, or both. You can even require additional information.
You can customize the appointment request form to collect whatever information you need. Use predefined fields for street address, a promotion code or newsletter opt-in, or create your own multiple-choice dropdown, check box or text field.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
You can also allow clients to cancel or reschedule appointments online when they give enough notice (how much is up to you). Clients can click a link in their confirmation email or sign in on your scheduling page to review and make changes to their upcoming appointments. See example
